Welcome to German Air Express!
German Air Express was first released to the fate of the World Wide Web on March 11, 2003.

Since that date GAE has witnessed continual growth and technological advancements over the course of the years. Back then it was a general interest in programming and something to pass away free time which finally resulted in an online Virtual Airline, states Leif Bleitzhofer, CEO German Air Express.
Initial ‘playing around’ gradually crew into a time consuming hobby and a community where people came together to share their common hobby and the addiction to fly. Our own voice channel (available 24/7) and real meetings (becoming more frequent) keep our active community alive.
The community and friendships built through it are very important to us.
We hope to be able to welcome you onboard soon as one of our newest community members.

Our day to day operations are conducted with a professional booking system ‘Booking 2.0’ which is there to assist you in every situation.
During each and every flight we strive to provide you with continually updated inflight information (such as enroute weather, destination weather + predictions, airport information, etc).

In order to accomplish this German Air Express has opted to use FS Flight Keeper as its flight recording / information / communication tool. FS Flight Keeper certainly provides you with a realistic approach to conducting your flight, whether you fly city or world tours, be in the left seat of in a Boeing, Airbus, Beechcraft, Bell, Bombardier, or De Havilland, FS Flight Keeper will keep you safely in the air, on the ground and in contact with German Air Express.

German Air Express only conducts online flights with major online networks (such as VATSIM & IVAO). The reason for this is simple: online flying offers a higher state of realism for both the pilots and the virtual airline.
We also host our own online server for newbies to train on and become acquainted with flying while connected online.
